The International Ski Federation has today carried out the snow inspection on the Olympia delle Tofane slope and has granted green light to the two Ladies' Ski World Cup races scheduled for January 23 and 24 on the legendary Ampezzo’ slope.
The downhill is scheduled on Saturday 23 at 10.15, whilst the superG will take place on Sunday 24 at 11.30.
It has not been easy to set up the scene of the race due to the difficult climatic conditions of this crazy winter, especially for the lack of cold. Since two months about 80 people are at work on the Olympia delle Tofane and the organizing committee would like to thank the ISTA, the company that manages the Cortina ski installations, for the active collaboration that has allowed to produce more than 80,000 cubic meters of snow, place over 10 kilometers of safety nets to ensure maximum security to the athletes and a perfect competition scene.
